FAQ

Q: Whenever I introduce myself to others as a guitar luthier, the usual initial reaction is to ask if I'm good at playing the guitar.

A: Not really, just like someone who makes cupboard might not necessarily be good at cooking. Although I'm not very skilled at playing the guitar, I'm really great at making guitars!

Q: What makes the guitars you create unique?

A: I believe their sound quality is exceptional (haha). From the very beginning of my guitar-making journey, I had a clear goal to create guitars with amazing sound. Even though I didn't know how to achieve that at the time, the goal remained clear, and I continue to pursue it to this day.

Q: Why did you start making guitars?

A: I feel like I was born to make guitars, it just took me 40 years to realize this fact (haha). Once I started making guitars, I discovered a genuine passion for it and found that I had a natural talent in this area.

Q: How long does it take to make a guitar?

A: Generally, it takes around 250 hours. Every step of the process is personally handled by me.

Q: Among the guitars you've made, do you have a favorite?

A: There's one particular guitar that I made especially for my wife. It's dedicated to our cat, and aside from an inlay made in the shape of its head, there are two circular patterns at the bottom of the back. These patterns are created from its fur, and I even incorporated some of it into the finishing.
